r e w e r s n e t is an independent, unofficial website dedicated
to following the fortunes of Burton Albion FC, currently plying their trade
in the Nationwide Conference, the top level of English non-league football.
Launched on an unsuspecting public in September 1997,
b r e w e r s n e t quickly developed into one of the leading
non-league football websites on the 'net, it's Rough Guide to the Dr. Martens
League and non-league links section earning it an audience beyond Brewers
fans.
After an interminable period of lying fallow while the editor got his finger
out, the newly revamped site launched in March 2002, with the Brewers riding
high in the UniBond League - they eventually won the league with a record
points haul to at long last claim their place on the
Conference.
